Use this article when the **Analytics** area does not list a podcast or the chart starts later than the first episode. Also use it when a section reads **No data available for the selected time range.** or the page shows an error. ## Protect your work Analytics are read-only. Nothing you do in the **Analytics** area changes your podcast or your episodes. Do not unpublish or delete a podcast to "reset" its analytics. {% tabs %} {% tab title="Classic view" %} ### Find the cause 1. Check whether the podcast is published. Only published podcasts appear in **Analytics**. 2. Check your role. Organization members need the analytics permission on the podcast. 3. Read the notice above the chart. It states how much history the plan includes. 4. Read the message inside the listener insights section. 5. Read any error text on the page. ### Recover #### If the dashboard reads "Analytics will appear here once your podcast is live" The podcast is not published, or you have no published podcast yet. The hint reads **Publish your podcast to start collecting analytics**. Publish the podcast. Ask an organization admin to grant it. See [Set organization roles and permissions](/documentation/connect-and-administer/account-and-team/set-organization-roles-and-permissions.md). #### If the notice reads "Your plan includes ... of analytics history." The plan of the podcast owner decides how far back analytics are available. Podigee moves a request for older dates to the start of the included window, and the notice reads **You're seeing the latest ... included in your plan.** Podigee also hides weekly reports outside the window. Plans without a history limit show **Full analytics history**. 1. If you need older data, select **Upgrade to unlock more history**. 2. Please wait a moment.**: reload the page after a short wait. * **Showing latest available data. A refresh is in progress.**: the numbers are from the last run and update by themselves. * **No data available for the selected time range.**: the plan does not return this data, or there were no downloads in the range. The listener distribution needs Grow or above. The category and podcast shares need Creator or above (or an older plan that includes them). * **Insights are currently unavailable. Please try again later.**: try again later. Users on an older plan see the hint **Listener Insights are available on our current plans.** #### If the page shows an error * **Something went wrong. We are working on it.**: reload the page. If the error stays, contact Podigee Support. * **Podcast or Episode not found.** or **We can't seem to find the page you are looking for.**: the podcast or episode does not exist or is not available to your account. Open **Analytics** from the top navigation and select the podcast from the list. #### If you see an upgrade panel instead of the full reports Users on an older plan see **See the full analytics experience on current plans** with **See current plans**. The reports of the current plans need a current plan. ### Expected result The podcast appears in the **Analytics** list, and the chart covers the history that the plan includes. The listener insights section shows data on the plans that include it. {% endtab %} {% tab title="Podigee workspace" %} 1. Select **Analytics** in the sidebar. The list shows every podcast in the workspace, including podcasts that are not published yet. 2. Select the podcast. Read the notice above the numbers. It names the history that your plan includes, for example **Your plan includes 7 days of analytics history.** or **You're seeing the latest 7 days included in your plan.** 3. If you need older data, select **Upgrade to unlock more history**. 4. If the chart is empty for the selected range, the page reads **No downloads between** with the two dates and the hint **Pick a wider timeframe, or come back once this period has data.** Select a wider timeframe. 5. Select **Listener insights**. On a plan without listener insights, the page shows one panel with **Compare plans**.
