# Create and publish an Inventory package

Group eligible podcast supply into a reviewed package that Campaigns, forecasts, and Marketplace work can use.

An Inventory package is the commercial definition of supply in the Podigee Audio Video Ad Server. It groups an authorized show with its formats, markets, sales dates, delivery methods, capacity, delivery cost, and publisher authority.

Preparing a package creates a draft. The package becomes available for forecasting and booking only after it passes the sellability check and completes the required review.

## Before you start

You need:

* Access to **Monetization** and permission to prepare inventory.
* A show with verified, delivery-ready audio or video.
* Current publisher and representation authority.
* The markets and sales dates for the offer.
* A capacity and delivery-cost estimate for each selected format.
* Recent analytics that support the capacity estimate.
* The active Inventory publication review rule.

If the source show or format is not available, assess the first-party podcast supply before you continue.

## 1. Start the package

1. Go to **Monetization > Inventory**.
2. Select **Prepare sellable inventory**.
3. Select the **OnePodigee show**.
4. Enter a clear **Inventory package name**.
5. Select **Audio**, **Video**, or both under **Sellable media**.

Use a name that sales and ad operations can identify without opening the package. Include the portfolio, format, market, or commercial purpose when it helps distinguish similar offers.

*Select only media that the show can deliver and that the publisher permits for advertising.*

## 2. Set the commercial scope

Under **Markets**, select every country in which the inventory may be sold. The package cannot be used for a market that is not part of this selection.

Under **Publisher**, select the legal business that owns or represents the supply. Reuse an existing publisher when it is available. Add a new publisher only when the required legal entity does not exist.

The selected publisher connects the package to its legal authority and active publisher rules. It does not transfer ownership of the podcast content.

## 3. Add capacity and delivery economics

For each selected format, enter:

* **Estimated capacity** for the sales window.
* **Delivery cost per 1,000** in the selected currency.
* One **Estimate confidence** value for the current evidence.

Audio capacity uses qualified audio impressions. Video capacity uses video starts. Base these values on recent analytics, eligible episodes, market restrictions, ad-break coverage, slot capacity, existing reservations, and expected publishing activity.

*Use current evidence for capacity and cost. The confidence value tells planners how reliable the estimate is.*

Delivery cost is the estimated infrastructure cost per 1,000 units. It is not the advertiser's price and it does not include media spend.

## 4. Set the sales window

Enter **Sellable from** and **Sellable until**.

The complete sales window must be inside the publisher's authority window. It must also cover the period in which Campaigns can reserve and deliver the supply. Podigee does not make the package bookable before its start or after its end.

Enter a short **Reason** that explains why the package is being prepared. This reason becomes part of the operational record and helps a reviewer understand the commercial purpose.

## 5. Prepare the draft

Select **Prepare inventory draft**.

Podigee saves a new draft version and returns to the Inventory page. At this point:

* Nothing is live.
* No Campaign can book the package.
* Delivery does not change.
* No approval decision has been recorded.

Review the card and confirm the formats, markets, sales window, delivery methods, volume, delivery cost, currency, and confidence.

## 6. Check sellability

Select **Check sellability** on the draft.

Podigee checks the exact package version for current content authority, source media, delivery and measurement support, positive capacity, delivery cost evidence, markets, and dates.

When the result is **Ready for commercial approval**, the package can continue to review. If the result is blocked, follow the displayed reason, repair the draft or its source, and select **Check again**.

## 7. Complete the required review

The active Inventory publication rule decides how publication works.

### Solo confirmation

When your workspace permits Solo confirmation:

1. Review the exact package card and readiness result.
2. Select **I confirm this exact inventory package for publication**.
3. Select **Confirm and publish**.

*Solo confirmation records the operator's decision for the exact package version. It does not remove the review record.*

### Second-person review

When the rule requires another person:

1. Select **Request approval**.
2. Ask an authorized reviewer to open the request in **Monetization > Approvals**.
3. The reviewer checks the exact package version and records a decision.
4. Return to Inventory after approval.
5. Select **Publish approved package**.

The author cannot replace the reviewed version without invalidating the decision. If the package changes, check and review the new exact version.

## 8. Verify the published package

The package card must show:

* **Published**.
* The expected formats and markets.
* The correct sales window.
* The supported delivery methods.
* Capacity and delivery cost for every selected format.
* **Published and ready for booking**.

The short package reference helps operators distinguish packages and versions. Use the copy control when an audit, support request, or integration needs the complete reference.

## If Podigee blocks the package

* **The show is not listed:** Publish an episode, complete media processing, and confirm content authority.
* **A format is unavailable:** Remove the format or prepare a current delivery-ready source.
* **A market is missing:** Add it to the workspace controlled values, then select it in the package.
* **The publisher is unavailable:** Create or link the Commercial account and establish publisher authority.
* **Capacity is invalid:** Enter a positive estimate for every selected format.
* **Delivery cost is invalid:** Enter a nonnegative cost and an enabled currency.
* **The sales window is invalid:** Enter complete dates whose end is after the start.
* **The sellability check fails:** Repair the named source, measurement, authority, or commercial fact and run the check again.
* **Approval is required:** Complete the configured Solo confirmation or second-person review.
* **The reviewed version changed:** Run the sellability check and review the new version.

## Result

The Inventory package is published and available for forecasting, reservations, Campaigns, and eligible Marketplace work. Its exact content, commercial scope, capacity, cost, and delivery rules remain tied to the published version.
