# Enroll Inventory in Marketplace

Enroll one published Inventory package in the Podigee Ad Marketplace with a clear price, buyer, priority, settlement, and payout policy.

This task makes one published Inventory package available to qualified buyers in the Podigee Audio Video Ad Server. You set the commercial boundary for the package, choose when bookings may start, and publish a versioned enrollment that the decision system can use.

Enrollment does not create a Campaign or promise delivery. It makes the selected audio or video supply eligible for Marketplace bookings under the terms you publish. Direct-sold Campaigns, publisher protections, and existing committed deals continue to use their own rules.

## Before you start

You need:

* Access to **Monetization** and permission to manage Marketplace supply.
* A current **Inventory package** with state **Published**.
* A publisher policy that is bound to the Inventory package and active for the planned sales period.
* The minimum acceptable price, selling currency, Podigee fee, buyer eligibility rule, demand priority, buyer settlement term, and publisher payout cadence.
* The date and time when Marketplace bookings may begin, and an optional end date inside the package validity window.
* The review rule that applies to Marketplace commitments. A workspace may use optional review, solo confirmation, or independent review.

Use the package's supported media kinds and billable units as the source of truth. Do not promise a buyer a format or measurement that the package does not list.

## 1. Open the enrollment action

1. Go to **Monetization > Marketplace**.
2. Find the package under **Sellable inventory**.
3. Confirm the package name, version, media, markets, sales window, and Marketplace state.
4. Select **Enroll**.

You can also open **Monetization > Revenue jobs > Marketplace transactions** and select **Enroll marketplace supply**. The package selector shows only published, current packages that do not already have an active Marketplace enrollment.

Stop if the package is not published, the version is not current, or the package already shows **Accepting demand**. Use [Update an Inventory package safely](/documentation/grow-and-monetize/monetization/update-an-inventory-package-safely.md) when the package itself needs a new version.

## 2. Select the exact package

1. Select the podcast workspace or show scope shown under **Where this applies**.
2. Select the published **Inventory package**.
3. Check the displayed package version against the offer or sales brief.
4. Confirm that the package's publisher policy, markets, media kinds, placement types, and measurement contract cover the supply you want to sell.

Podigee binds the enrollment to the exact published Inventory version and the publisher policy that controls it. A later package version does not silently replace this enrollment.

## 3. Set Marketplace terms

Select the values in **Marketplace terms**:

1. **Selling currency**: choose the currency used for the Marketplace price and settlement.
2. **Minimum price basis**: choose **Per 1,000 impressions**, **Per video view**, or **Flat amount**, as supported by the package.
3. **Minimum price**: enter the lowest acceptable value. Marketplace demand below this value is not eligible.
4. **Podigee fee (%)**: enter the fee from the commercial agreement. The publisher share is calculated from the fee and must remain a valid share.
5. **Eligible buyers**: choose **Qualified buyers**, **Invited buyers only**, or **All credit-approved buyers**.
6. **When demand competes**: choose **Protect direct sales first**, **Choose the highest eligible value**, or **Prefer Marketplace demand** according to the publisher's approved policy.
7. **Settlement terms**: choose monthly with a 30-day term, monthly with a 45-day term, or prepaid.
8. **Publisher payout**: choose monthly or quarterly.
9. Add a short **Note for Podigee Marketplace operations** when the package needs context about the show, audience, suitability, or sales preference.
10. Select whether Podigee may feature the package in Marketplace promotion.

Do not use the note to add a hidden price, buyer, or targeting rule. Put a rule in the relevant policy or deal so the decision and settlement records can use it.

## 4. Choose the Marketplace sales period

1. Set **Marketplace sales period**.
2. Keep the start and end inside the Inventory package validity window.
3. Make sure the selected publisher policy is effective for the complete period.
4. Use a future start when the sales team should prepare the package before buyers can book it.
5. Do not use an end date to hide an expired package. Publish a new Inventory version when the supply or rights change.

The enrollment is eligible only during this window. A deal must also fit the package, buyer, and policy windows when it is committed.

## 5. Review and publish the enrollment

1. Review the package version, sales period, terms, buyer rule, demand priority, and promotion permission.
2. Select **Preview impact** when you need to check how the enrollment changes Marketplace availability.
3. Complete the configured Marketplace commitment review.
4. Select **Enroll package**.
5. Open the result receipt and check the exact package version, terms digest, effective window, review evidence, and Marketplace policy version.

The review mode controls the number of people involved. With optional review, an advisory review does not block publication. With solo confirmation, one authorized operator can publish the exact version. With independent review, a different authorized reviewer must approve it first. Follow [Configure review rules](/documentation/grow-and-monetize/monetization/configure-review-rules.md) when the workspace policy needs to change.

## 6. Confirm the result

Return to **Monetization > Marketplace** and confirm:

* The package state is **Published**.
* The Marketplace state is **Accepting demand** when the effective time has started.
* The package's media, markets, sales window, and available billable units still match the offer.
* The Marketplace metrics include the package in **Sellable packages**. **Live demand sources** is a separate count of active external demand connections.
* No direct-sold Campaign or existing deal was changed by the enrollment.

The enrollment creates a versioned Marketplace policy. A qualified buyer and a later committed deal must still pass buyer credit, targeting, creative, capacity, and launch checks.

## If enrollment is blocked

Check the message and use the matching recovery:

| Message or state                         | Meaning                                                                  | Safe recovery                                                                      |
| ---------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| No package is available                  | No current package is both published and not already enrolled.           | Publish an Inventory package or review the current Marketplace participation.      |
| Supply and publisher policy do not agree | The package, publisher policy, or dates do not share the same authority. | Select the bound published policy and a sales period inside both validity windows. |
| The package is already accepting demand  | An active enrollment already covers the package.                         | Use Marketplace participation to change, pause, or withdraw it.                    |
| Review is required                       | The workspace uses independent Marketplace commitment review.            | Request or complete the review for this exact enrollment version.                  |
| Invalid minimum price or fee             | The value is outside the permitted range or uses the wrong basis.        | Check the signed commercial terms and enter a valid value.                         |
| A later package version exists           | New supply no longer matches the enrolled version.                       | Use **Update marketplace** to supersede the enrollment for new bookings.           |

Do not submit a second enrollment to bypass a failed validation. The existing version remains the last valid Marketplace authority until a new version is approved and published.

## Expected result

The published Inventory package is available for Marketplace discovery and booking only during its approved sales period and only under the selected price, buyer, priority, settlement, payout, and promotion rules. Podigee retains the exact package version, publisher authority, terms digest, and review evidence so later deal, delivery, and money records can refer to the same enrollment.
