# Read Campaign and creative performance

Read campaign pace, delivery, revenue, creative coverage, surface results, and lost opportunity.

Use the Campaign performance view to move from a Campaign goal to each Flight. Use the linked creative and decision views when you need to understand which creative ran, which delivery surface was used, or why an opportunity was not filled.

## Before you start

Select the correct Monetization workspace. You need Campaign read permission to open a Campaign performance view. You need delivery decision read permission to inspect selected creatives, surfaces, and no-fill reasons.

## Open Campaign performance

1. Open **Monetization > Campaigns**.
2. Select the Campaign.
3. Scroll to **Delivery, pace, and revenue**.

![The current One Podigee Campaign view shows delivery, pace, and revenue for separate audio and video Flights, with delivered units, remaining goals, qualified revenue, and creative coverage below.](https://2032417310-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FbqUKO6lljHGzkEAzliPI%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-f8d7c46c7e3d1f7529c295099ca5eda249d4c76d%2Fdoc-monetization-072-campaign-performance.png?alt=media)

*Start with the Campaign summary, then inspect the Flight rows and creative coverage.*

The summary shows:

* **Planned flights**: the number of Flights in this Campaign version.
* **Flights with qualified delivery**: Flights with qualified delivery evidence.
* **Qualified revenue**: the value attached to qualified delivery evidence.
* **Latest delivery evidence**: the newest qualified evidence time, or **No delivery yet**.

The page uses the current Campaign version. It does not combine values from an older version with the active version.

## Read each Flight

The **Flight performance** table shows the following values:

* **Pace**: scheduled, on pace, ahead of pace, behind pace, goal reached, or ended below goal.
* **Delivered**: qualified units for the Flight.
* **Remaining**: the part of the goal that is not qualified yet.
* **Qualified revenue**: qualified value in the Flight currency.

Audio and video Flights remain separate. An audio impression and a video start do not become one unit because they appear in the same Campaign.

Pace compares delivered progress with the part of the Flight window that has passed. A Flight can be behind pace without being broken. Check the remaining goal, the time left, creative readiness, and capacity before you change the Campaign.

## Check creative coverage and rotation

Scroll to the Campaign's Flight table. The creative column shows the number of eligible creatives, historical assignments, and the current assignments for each Flight. An assignment shows its creative name, rendition profile, and readiness state.

Select the preview control next to a creative when you need to check the audio or video asset. Use the assignment action only when you have permission to change the Flight. A creative can be assigned and still be blocked when its rendition, rights, review, or delivery surface is not ready.

The Campaign page is the place to check the planned rotation. The decision library is the place to check which creative actually won individual requests. Do not infer rotation from the assignment list alone.

## Compare delivery surfaces

Select **Explain delivery** in the Campaign performance section, or open **Monetization > Operations > Live ad delivery > Recent ad decisions**.

![The current One Podigee decision library shows selected creatives, delivery methods, result filters, and recent audio and video decisions.](https://2032417310-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FbqUKO6lljHGzkEAzliPI%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-c7eb99b997ef8bfe2bd793323a7c682391d3ef15%2Fdoc-monetization-073-decisions-overview.png?alt=media)

*Use recorded decisions to confirm which creative and delivery surface ran.*

Use the **Delivery method** value to compare audio and video paths, such as podcast audio, video interstitial, or video ad stitching. Read the selected creative, Campaign, Flight, and surface together. A request can use a clean fallback or original content when no paid creative is eligible.

Do not compare a progressive RSS audio request with an HLS video request as if they were the same technical event. Use the qualified metric defined for each surface.

## Find lost opportunity

Lost opportunity is a request or available slot that did not become qualified paid delivery. It is not automatically a technical failure. Use the decision result and reason to classify it.

1. Open **Recent ad decisions**.
2. Set **Result** to **No ad selected** or **Partially filled**.
3. Select **Apply filters**.
4. Read **Why**, **Delivery method**, and the affected episode and break.
5. Select **View decision** for the exact slot result.

Common causes include a targeting or schedule mismatch, a frequency or budget rule, a missing or blocked creative rendition, no demand response, an unsupported media path, or a privacy rule. Use the exact reason shown by Podigee. Do not call every no-fill result lost revenue without checking the Campaign rate, the available capacity, and the qualification rule.

## Compare two Campaign results

Use the same period, time zone, unit, and Campaign version for both results.

1. Record the Flight goal and billable unit.
2. Record delivered and remaining units.
3. Record the pace state and latest evidence time.
4. Record qualified revenue in the displayed currency.
5. Compare creative coverage and readiness.
6. Compare decision results by delivery surface.
7. Open a governed report when you need a creative, show, market, or date breakdown.

If one Campaign has more delivered units, confirm that its goal, period, capacity, and unit are comparable. A larger number is not better when it uses a different unit or a different evidence definition.

## Example

An audio Flight has a goal of 100,000 qualified impressions. It shows 76,000 delivered, 24,000 remaining, and **Behind pace**. Its creative column shows two eligible assignments. The decision library shows that 8,000 requests used a video-only path and returned original content.

The next action is not to add another creative immediately. First check the Flight's surface eligibility, the affected requests, the no-fill reason, and the remaining audio capacity. If the audio rendition is blocked, fix the creative preparation. If demand is missing, check targeting, rate, and the active demand source.

## If performance looks wrong

| Situation | What to check |
| ------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| A Flight shows no delivery | Check its schedule, reservation, creative readiness, and latest evidence time. |
| A Flight is behind pace | Compare time left, remaining goal, capacity, and no-fill reasons. |
| A creative is assigned but does not run | Check rendition, rights, review state, surface support, and the decision reason. |
| Audio and video values look combined | Check the billable unit and compare separate Flight rows. |
| Revenue differs between Campaign and report | Match Campaign version, period, time zone, currency, attribution, and definition version. |
| A no-fill result is called lost revenue | Check whether capacity, eligibility, rate, and qualification supported a paid delivery. |

## Expected result

You can read Campaign and Flight performance, verify creative coverage, identify the surface that ran, and explain a filled, partially filled, or no-fill opportunity. You can choose a focused next action without mixing audio and video units or treating a plan, forecast, or no-fill result as qualified revenue.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.podigee.com/documentation/grow-and-monetize/monetization/read-campaign-and-creative-performance.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
