# Check delivery for one episode

Check direct per-episode delivery, failure details, and normal RSS-only distribution.

Use this check after show-level setup is complete and one episode appears missing from a platform.

## Before you start

* Inspect show distribution status first.
* Find the episode ID and confirm its publication state.

## Check the episode

1. Ask your agent to get episode distribution for the episode ID.
2. Review the delivery summary groups for delivered, pending, and failed platforms.
3. Review each direct delivery's state, media type, remote URL, last sync time, and error details.
4. Read `retry_note` before you retry or republish anything.
5. Check `feed_only` when the deliveries list is empty.

An empty delivery list is normal for an episode that reaches directories through the podcast RSS feed. It does not mean distribution failed.

## Expected result

You can distinguish direct-delivery success or failure from normal RSS-only delivery.

## If direct delivery failed

Preserve the platform, state, last error, and last error time. Wait when Podigee reports that it will retry automatically. Do not republish the episode unless the recovery guidance requires it.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.podigee.com/documentation/start-here/ai-agents/distribute-a-podcast/check-delivery-for-one-episode.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
